APO/MRO Guider Acq. Request Form

By filling out this form completely, you can submit a batch job to generate APO or MRO Guider Acquisition Charts (GACs) for any place on the sky. But please read the instructions carefully before submitting a job.

To generate GACs:

Fill out the Batch Job Request Form below and submit it
Cross your fingers and wait for news of the job completion via email.
Once you receive email confirmation of a successful job, you can pick up the results (via anonymous ftp) at ftp://ftp.astro.washington.edu/pub/apoguide

Typically jobs will take a few minutes.

Enter the input list data on the various objects below.

In general, entries should follow the pattern of the example entry shown below. Targets with the name "Example Entry" will be ignored. There should be the same number of characters as in the Example Entry (including spaces). The names should include only numbers, letters and spaces; no special characters. On some browsers there may be a problem with getting the text to be a fixed-width font, and so the display will look funny.
The intstruments available are DIS, SPI (for SPICAM), MRO, FC (makes a generic finding chart). GRIM is also available.
When the 'FC' option is chosen, the InstAng variable becomes the image size in arcminutes. Otherwise it is the Intrument Angle.
