How to get here

We're located at the corner of 15th Ave NE and NE Pacific Hwy, in the U-District. If you are coming from:

  1. Eastside: Take 520 W to Montlake Exit. Left at 2nd light (on to Pacific). Come to 15th, and make a right. The Physics/Astronomy building is on the corner. If you are bringing a bus, you can let the students off at the stop on 15th. Otherwise, see the information about where to park.

  2. North or South: I-5 to NE 45th Street exit (University of Washington). Take 45th St. East to 15th. Make a right on 15th. Follow this to the intersection with Pacific. If you are bringing a bus, you can let the students off at the stop on 15th (right before Pacific). Otherwise, see the information about where to park.

School buses can park at the Burke Museum located in the NW corner of campus on 45th between 15th and 17th. All other vehicles must pay to park on campus. The nearest pay lot is the Red Square Parking Garage (the orange area in the map below) north of the Physics-Astronomy complex. This is an underground lot that is accessible from 15th Ave NE.

The planetarium is in the A-building (Auditorium building) of the Physics-Astronomy complex - it's the building with the big dome on top, near the big peanut-shaped statue. The planetarium itself is on the second floor at the far end of the hall. The A-building is circled on the map below (click on the map for a larger version).
