Kristine's Trip to Singapore Sept 2-8, 2004

A busy pedestrian shopping mall in Chinatown. The umbrellas are necessary for the daily 30 minute torrential downpours followed by 90 degree heat.
This is one of the hawker stands where I had lunch. I don't quite know what I ate but it was damn good!
A street getting ready for the night market crowds.
The main road decked out for the Mid-Autumn festival.
A Chinese shrine near the owner's shop.
The angle makes it look wierd but this is an angled shot of the underside of the roofline at a Buddhist temple in Chinatown.
Here's the inside of another Buddhist temple, this one in Little India.
The courtyard of a Buddhist temple.
A quiet park to sit and rest after walking around Chinatown.
