| Announcements |
- Monday, March 31, 2008 - Welcome to class!
As a reminder of why you're here, check out
this great gallery of images taken by the Hubble
Space Telescope!
- Monday, April 7, 2008 - I have added a new section to the course webpages
entitled Review Questions. These questions, chosen from those at the
end of each chapter of your text, are not required assignments, but are intended to offer extra guidance on
which topics I consider to be of extra importance. You are strongly encouraged to review them, and to make
certain that you are able to answer them without difficulty.
- Monday, April 7, 2008 - Because I will be attending your quiz sections on Tuesday,
April 8th, I will be forced to cancel my regularly scheduled office hours on that day. My office hours will
resume at their normal times on Wednesday, April 9th. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes, and I
remain happy to meet with you at other times by appointment.
- Friday, April 25, 2008 - The pool of essay questions for the upcoming exam are
now available through this link. If you have any questions about the format
of the exam, or any other concerns, don't hesitate to contact me and/or your TA! You can also get some exam review
in during the CLUE session this coming Monday night, April 28th. We'll be in Mary Gates Hall 241 from 6:30-8:00pm,
taking your questions as always, but focusing a bit extra on the upcoming exam.
- Tuesday, April 29, 2008 - There will be an additional review session for the first
midterm exam, to be held on Wednesday, April 30th in room A118 of the Physics-Astronomy Building. We have the room
(located in the same building as your quiz sections) reserved from 6:30-8:20pm -- bring your questions!!
