Abstract:
The superlative ~1 arcsecond angular resolution of the Chandra X-ray
Observatory is revolutionizing the study of the exotic, but important, X-ray
emitting population of globular clusters. Even with the Hubble Space
Telescope the cores of many globular clusters are still extremely crowded.
Now at X-ray wavelengths many compact binaries are revealing themselves, and
will ultimately help us understand the dynamical and stellar evolution of
globular clusters much better.
