Galaxy Formation: Rotation Curves

The following pictures show the rotation curve traced by different components( Hot Gas:Red, Cold Gas: Blue, Young Stars: Cyan). The first figure correspond to an isolated galaxy. The continuous black line is the circular velocity. The lower panels show the PVD from two different view angles.Red dots represent hot gas and black dots correspond to cold gas. The Figure to the right include the same physics for star formation and feedback but corresponds to a galaxy formation run. The third figure is a snapshot of the gaseous componnet in the isolated run seen edge-on.

The same as figures one, two and three but with a stronger gas turbulence.
