Planetarium Shows

Students, family and friends are invited to attend one of our planetarium shows.

Shows are at 1:30pm and 2:30pm in the Physics/Astronomy Auditorium building, room A220.  The planetarium will seat 40 people per show.

 

 

Reception Tickets

Each student is allowed 2 guests. Please fill out the online ticket request form at http://www.phys.washington.edu/graduation.

 

Additional tickets may be available after the RSVP date of May 23. Margot will have all extra tickets.

 

 

Parking

Due to numerous Departmental graduation receptions, on campus parking must be purchased in advanced for the departmental ceremony by visiting http://uwnews.washington.edu/ni/Uwnews/Sites/commencement/parking.asp.  Parking permits can be requested from May 5-25.  The Department of Astronomy is unable to provide parking permits.

 

Some street parking may be available however there are many graduation events occurring on campus and we expect campus to be very busy.

 

 

Attire

Students are not required to wear caps and gowns.  Please dress nicely as we will address you during the ceremony.
