Sarah Schmidt

Hello, you’ve found my website. I’m a third year graduate student in the astronomy department at University of Washington. My research interests are all related to cool stars and brown dwarfs - mostly activity studies but also a sprinkling of metallicity. If you want to read about the projects I’m involved in, you should wander over to my science page. I am also this year’s instructor for the UW astronomy department’s pre-Major in Astronomy Program, which is an effort to increase the number of under-represented students who choose to major in the sciences. If you want to know about me besides the science, you can try the about me page. Or you can stalk me on facebook. If you’re into that.
