Objectives
Many people come into an astronomy course wanting to know about the constellations in the sky. Modern astronomy however does not deal with "naming" stars anymore, as it has become more and more a physical science. This project will let all you you teach each other about the constellations we see (and don't see!) in the sky.What needs to be done
Students will present an approximately 5 minute presentation on a constellation.Constellation Groups
- Name of the constellation and when (and where!) it is visble.
- How to find the constellation and notable stars in it.
- Mythology, or history connected with the constellation.
- Information on any interesting astrophysical objects within the constellation.
