nice online introductory astronomy text.
Science and the
Human Perspective. Ronald Pine's very nice online text dealing
with the philosophy of science. I like it a lot, and while I don't
agree with him on every issue the work is well worth a read and if you
can find people for a discusion. We used several chapters of this text
for the philosophical component of the astronomy course taught in
Rome. Check out his PhD thesis here for a
deeper delve into some of the topics.
CCFA The Crohn's and Colitis
Foundation of America is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization
dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative
colitis. I lost my colon to Ulerative Colitis in 2005 after fighting
it for 5 years, so I apreciate this organization.
