Work |
I'm a graduate student in astronomy at the University of Washington. I make maps of exoplanets using data from the Spitzer Space Telescope and maps of Earth with data from the EPOXI spacecraft. I dabble in survey astronomy using the Sloan Digital Sky Survey and the Millenium Simulation and also work with the Pre-Major in Astronomy Program to introduce underrepresented undergraduates to astronomy research. When not working, i can usually be found playing with my son, reading in a coffee shop, climbing in the gym, or playing in the mountains. |
